The desire for glowing and healthy skin is not wrong to have. You look good, you feel good and hence, it is definitely worth trying techniques that can get us a natural glow. Here, we bring you some face yoga poses that will give you an instant glow!

Face yoga includes some simple exercises that require you to massage or tap your face in certain ways which ends up stimulating your facial muscles and improving the blood circulation which give you the glow. A 2018 study shows that facial “yoga” can rejuvenate the aging face, presumably by inducing underlying muscle growth and is effective for improving overall skin appearance.

Jahnavi Patwardhan, a yoga expert,, recently shared an Instagram reel where she suggested 3 face yoga poses for glowing skin. What’s more is you can do these practices anywhere! Let’s take a look at them:

1. Balloon pose

Performing this exercise restores blood circulation to your cheek area which helps in fighting off dullness on your face as well as in preventing acne and scars.

To perform this yoga pose, you need to take a deep breath and fill your mouth with as much air as you can. Cover your mouth with two fingers to prevent any exhalation and hold this pose for at least 30 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times.

2. Mindfulness pose

This face yoga pose helps in reducing stress related to headache, stress-related migraine and getting rid of all the stress can treat half your health problems including acne prone skin. So, with this exercise you will be able to get rid of acne caused due to stress.

For this pose, close your eyes and rub your forehead and eyes with your finger tips. First put your fingertips on the center of your forehead and then with slight pressure move it downwards. Next, take one finger and rub your eye in circular motions, first clockwise and then anti-clockwise.

3. Simple tapping pose

Well, the Koreans have proved that this is the secret to their younger looking skin, so why not give it a try. This practice of face tapping helps restore blood circulation to the entire face which brings a very quick and easy glow to your face!

For this exercise all you need to do is tap your whole face gently with the tip of your fingers. You can make a practice of it while applying lotion to your face as well.
