Monsoon season is here in all its glory, meaning that your skin is susceptible to breakouts and dullness due to humidity. To manage this situation, a skin serum made of natural ingredients could do the trick. Especially a homemade serum based on vitamin E.

While there are various over the counter products available, you could always make your own vitamin e serum from the comfort of your home. This serum can help you achieve glowing skin, free of oil, and clogged pores.

Here’s how vitamin E serum benefits the skin

It is an effective stimulant for collagen production, that repairs fine lines and wrinkles, and inhibits melanin formation. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and helps protect against free radical damage caused by UV rays, pollution, and natural ageing. It helps nourish the skin, moisturise it, aid skin repair, and protects it from breakouts.

Vitamin E can help soften dark spots, and brighten the skin tone. Its anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce the appearance of under-eye circles, and redness due to infections.

This nutrient-rich serum acts as a luminosity booster for the skin and is a must-have as part of your skincare toolkit.

Applying the serum
  • At night time, start by cleaning your face.
  • Massage the serum lightly on your face and neck area using recurring tapping motions with your fingertips or palms.
  • Do not rub the serum excessively and let it be absorbed by your skin.
  • If you’re using vitamin E serum during the day, then do not forget to apply sunscreen after the serum is absorbed into the skin.

This serum has a short shelf life, so remember to use it within two weeks of making the batch. So, don’t wait any longer and make your own vitamin E serum for healthier and brighter skin.
