Sticking to a fitness regime is a difficult task, and Covid-19 has made it even more difficult. Social distancing norms and risk of being infected has compelled many people to switch to exercising at home, considering that physical fitness is important for both mental and bodily wellbeing.

As per Harvard Health Publishing, “exercise reduces levels of the body’s stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. It also stimulates the production of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that are the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators.” The best part is the exercise induces an alteration of behaviour coupled with a sense of routine, which improves overall health, self-image and confidence.

Therefore, the onus now shifts on us to continue exercising at home, and while we may not be able to experience the same intensity as a gym workout, certain equipment can certainly help with achieving comprehensive and effective exercise sessions.
