But it’s also important to remember that the varieties you buy from supermarkets are laden with sugar and fat. That’s why we are here to share with you the recipe of homemade peanut butter. Sounds like too much work?

You just require four ingredients and five minutes. Surprised? Well, this quick peanut butter recipe is proof. Come, let’s try!

Ingredients

Method:

Step 1: Place peanuts in a food processor. Turn the food processor on and let it run for 4-5 minutes.

Step 2: During this time, you’ll see the peanuts turn from crumbs to a dry ball and then to a smooth and creamy ‘liquid’ peanut butter. Stir in some honey and olive oil to add some texture. Add a pinch of salt too.

Step 3: Store this butter in the fridge or at room temperature.

Tip: If you like the crunchy version of peanut butter, keep around 50 grams of roasted peanuts aside and roughly blend them. You can also crush them using a pestle and mortar, and add it to the butter before storing.

Here’s why you should replace packaged toast spread with peanut butter
