Here’s why you must add Chilean kiwis to your diet

Makhija rightly pointed out that Chilean kiwis contain double the vitamin C that is present in oranges and lemons. Interestingly, kiwi fruit contains roughly 230% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C. No wonder, they are most preferred when it comes to boosting the immune system.

Moreover, these kiwis are also packed with omega-3 fatty acids, making them rich in antioxidants. They are known to eliminate free radicals within the body, and protect it from inflammation and disease. That’s exactly why this low-GI fruit is great for diabetics, and works well to fight cancer. Their extract is also potent in treating DNA and tackles degeneration in the body. Furthermore, kiwis also help to promote sleep, because of the serotonin that they release.
