Having a bush or not is a debatable subject, but if you want to grow out your pubic hair—go ahead and do it by all means! An increasing population of women are tossing their razors and canceling their waxing appointments. Now you may think of it as good or bad, but if you agree to this, then read on to know more about how to grow your pubic hair.

Of course, it’s a no-brainer that you must stop waxing or shaving your nether region right away. There are some women who pay special attention to the pubic hair and skin area, and that’s obvious because it requires some extra TLC. Also, it’s essential to remember that their hair growth is dependent on the method of hair removal. If you were accustomed to shaving your pubic hair, get ready for some stubble!

Also make a note that not shaving or waxing does not mean you don’t maintain hygiene down there. Keeping it well-groomed is important!

So, are you ready to embark on this journey of restoration or let’s say regrowth?

1. Trim it out

Treat your pubic hair like the hair on your head! What do we mean? Well, don’t we go for regular trims, so that our hair grows out healthy and shiny? The same applies to pubic hair. Invest in a good scissor, sterilise it properly and trim your pube. You can also neaten the area by using a shaving cream. When you use the razor, make sure to disinfect the blade.

2. Exfoliate the pubic area

Make sure to exfoliate the region well, so that you don’t have to deal with ingrown hair. You could use coconut or tea tree oil to tackle bumps, but make sure to scrub the area gently, so that you don’t end up injuring yourself. You can also massage the area with a dry brush, so that there’s more circulation down there.

3. Cleanse well, but gently

When you grow out your pubic hair, make sure to follow a gentle cleansing routine, so that you can tackle sweating. It also helps to eliminate dirt and all kinds of bacteria. Do not fall prey to douching in any way; instead using a gentle soap and water to clean the area. You could also use a balanced feminine wash, but ensure it does not contain any artificial substances. If the product is free from any kind of fragrance, and has no parabens and sulfates, you could go for it.

4. Soften the hair

Both waxing and shaving pubic hair can make the ends very hard, and sometimes also cause the region to be very itchy. When the hair grows out, you’d want it to be thick and soft, right? What if it pokes you? Well, that won’t happen if you use any essential oil, mixed with a few drops of coconut oil. When you treat your pubic hair to this mixture, it will soften over time and grow out more healthy.

5. Let it breathe

Last but not the least, do not forget this tip! Try using cotton underwear to stay away from irritation, ingrown hair or even chafing. And yes, at no cost must you repeat your underwear. Change it every day to keep the area hygienic!

So ladies, follow these tips and bring back the bush!
