Intercourse, as such, is recognized by penetrative sex. But there’s a lot that can be done before and during the act to spike the pleasure! Sex positive content creator Leeza Mangaldas, whose Instagram page is a treasure trove of tips on sexual wellness, recently gave a pro tip on orgasm for women.

She touched upon two stimulation techniques, which can work magic when practiced simultaneously. Curious, are you? Let’s tell you more about this unique way of maximizing your chance of an orgasm.

Tips to increase sexual pleasure

According to Leeza Mangaldas, a simultaneous use of cunnilingus, which means oral stimulation of the vulva with a focus on the clitoris, and fingering, which means stimulating the vaginal wall with fingers, can be “uniquely pleasurable for many women and vulva owners”.

How does this work?

Well, clitoral and vaginal stimulation together, is in Mangaldas’ words, the “secret sauce for maximum pleasure for many vulva owners”.

She explains that the head or glans of the clitoris is an extremely sensitive area, and stimulating this may be among the most reliable routes to orgasm for most people with vulvas.

Combining this with vaginal stimulation at the same time may be better because the internal parts of the clitoris straddle the vaginal canal. This creates an internal erogenous zone along the upper vaginal wall that is sometimes called the ‘G-spot’.

“Fingering the vaginal wall can stimulate this erogenous zone,” she adds.

When it comes to solo pleasure of course, people masturbate using hands or toys to create this simultaneous clitoral and vaginal stimulation for as one of the best ways to increase sexual pleasure.

But when it comes to expecting it with a partner, you’ve got to ask them what they may like or are comfortable with. Not everyone man is Jon Snow of Game of Thrones (if you know what we mean), and would be comfortable performing a cunnilingus!

How to practice safe oral sex

Cunnilingus or oral sex is typically done before intercourse. It can be a part of foreplay for sexual arousal. When it comes to safe sex practices, both partners must insist on proper hygiene to avoid any risks of oral sex.

Oral sex is also mired in a lot of stigma, so it would be best to be on the same page about it with your partner.

Unlike the myth many people believe, oral sex can spread Sexually Transmitted Infections such as Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes simplex virus, HPV, and even HIV (even though the risk may be low).

Due to this risk, it is best for you and your partner to use protection, such as a dental dam.

Also, ensure keeping your intimate hygiene in check!
