Ayurvedic health coach Dimple Jangda shared an Instagram video in which she outlined some useful insight on 5 must-have foods for children.

Here are 5 must-have foods for children:

1. Include lots of dry fruits, nuts, and seeds:

Children need various vitamins and minerals that boost the growth hormone in the body. It helps in increasing their height and maintaining their weight. So include a lot of dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. Nuts will sharpen their memory and will keep their body warm. Nuts also increase the energy level of the body. It will help them to be productive and active throughout the day.

Seeds are full of antioxidants, potassium, manganese, zinc, iron, copper, and lots of other minerals and vitamins, which help to fight anemia, produce more red blood cells, and maintain the oxygen level in the .”

* Bold nuts
* Peanuts
* Cashews
* Walnuts

Consume seeds like:

2. Consume cold grains:

Make sure your kid never skips on cool grains. They are a significant source of fiber, which keeps digestion in check and helps in maintaining a proper weight. It prevents obesity in children at an early stage. Cold grains prevent many stomach problems, constipation, and even hemorrhoids. If a child’s digestion is proper she is likely to be healthy and have a strong immune system. So it is mandatory food for growing children. You can add them in the form of rotis, rice or serve it as snacks.

3. Green vegetables and fruits:

Dairy products, especially milk, is an essential part of a kid’s diet to make the bones stronger, increase their height and even for the eyesight as dairy products contain calcium.
