Low on energy? Don’t want to get up from the bed? Well, who doesn’t have energy dips during the day? We all do! It’s common. However, dealing with it is important. Whenever you find yourself feeling sluggish during the day, you turn to a cup of coffee to get rid of the feeling of low energy or fatigue, right? But that is not the ultimate solution. In fact, an overdose of coffee can lead to several side effects.

Being low on energy can affect your productivity level at work as well. That’s why looking out for ways to boost your energy and mood has become really important. Recently, Neha Ranglani, a nutritionist and health coach, shared an Instagram reel where she suggest ways to uplift your energy level instantly.

Take a look at her Instagram post:

Here are five ways to boost your energy instantly:

1. Eat a date

Especially during the winter season, stocking up on wholesome foods like dates can offer a plethora of benefits. Dates will not only keep you healthy but there will be a noticeable change in your energy level when you consume them. All because dates contain natural sugar such as glucose, sucrose, and fructose. Moreover, they contain iron, protein, calcium, potassium, carbs, fibre, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc, vitamin B6.

2. Sprint/Jog in a place

If you’re feeling tired or exhausted, you need to do something which can energize your body. The best ways? Well, get up and sprint or skip in place. Ranglani says, “Exercise tells you that you need more energy in your body and will provide you with more as well.” Spot running improves heartbeat, blood pressure, blood sugar, and burns calories and fat which means it will boost your energy by reducing fatigue and tiredness.

3. Try Kapalbhati

Stress at work and in personal life can cause your body to undergo adrenaline fatigue, all thanks to the low state of cortisol. One major symptom of prolonged stress is a dip in energy levels. So to remove stress from your life, you need to get rid of the sources of stress but along with that try Kapalbhati. Ranglani says, “Kapalbhati because this breathing practice stimulates the diaphragm and increases alertness by supplying more oxygen to your brain.” Thus, it boosts the production of endorphins, also known as happy hormones, thereby helping to uplift your mood.
