Who doesn’t like to have shiny, thick and long hair? However, sometimes we also experience hair fall and have to deal with damaged  hair. Factors such as pollution and unhealthy lifestyle contribute to hair damage. This is where castor oil comes in to save the day!

Yes ladies, castor oil can prove to be an elixir for your hair. It has remarkable healing properties and a slew of benefits for your hair. It can help strengthen hair strands, promote hair growth, and nourish the scalp. In addition, castor oil is rich in omega-6 fatty acids and ricinolein, which help improve hair quality.

So, to help you get shiny and strong hair, we present 3 DIY castor oil hair masks:
1. Castor oil, tea tree and aloe vera hair mask

The healing and soothing properties of aloe vera and castor oil hair masks are ideal for rejuvenating your scalp and regulating the healthy sebum, an oily substance that keeps hair from drying and breaking off. Moreover, tea tree oil has antiseptic, antiviral, and antifungal properties that kill harmful microbes thus promoting hair growth.

Ingredients for the mask:
  • 2 tbsp castor oil
  • ½ cup of aloe vera gel
  • 2-3 drops of tea tree oil
