How to get glowing skin? This is one of the most pertinent skincare questions out there. And while we all desperately want that natural glow and healthy skin, our stressful lifestyles and hectic work schedules do not really allow us to make that effort that goes towards achieving the skin of our dreams.

There are a lot of contributing factors that we subject our skin to without realizing that we are damaging it. Lack of sleep, nutritional diet, harmful UV sun rays, and pollution have a direct impact on our skin.

However, these are inevitable parts of life and can’t be avoided but you can surely prevent damaging your skin. Hence, we’ve brought you a few home remedies that will help your skin glow and stay young without having to subject it to artificial ingredients and chemicals:

1.Turmeric paste
Thanks to its curcumin content, turmeric is known for its strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It aids the production of collagen that helps the skin glow. Not only that, the curcumin also gets rid of harmful free radicals that damage the skin. It can be your go-to cleanser and clean your skin clean while brightening it. You will see effects by using it only one to two times a week.

How to use: Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil and half a teaspoon of honey in a bowl. Wet your face and neck before applying the mixture in circular motions. Let it stay for 10 to 15 mins before you rinse it with cool water and pat dry. Moisturize your skin with your usual moisturizer.

We recommend a patch test before you apply it on your face as some people experience skin irritation because of baking soda.

5. Papaya face mask
Get radiant and younger-looking skin with papaya as it removes the top layer of dead skin cells from the face when applied. This is possible due to the presence of papain which is an enzyme that acts as a mild exfoliator. It also reduces the blemishes on the skin.
