Dr. Vaibhav Saxena creates benchmark in healthcare realm with his advance urological skills

Whether one likes to believe it or not, the fact remains that a woman’s reproductive health is discussed often. However, unlike the general perception that exists in society, infertility affects about 15 percent of couples across the globe and as per a report, men are solely responsible for 20-30 percent of infertility cases. India, in recent times, has witnessed a northward surge in prostate problems and what’s alarming is the fact that the prostate is the second leading cause of cancer among males in cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram. These problems, if diagnosed at the early stage, can be treated. Dr. Vaibhav Saxena, is one such renowned senior Consultant Urologist, Andrologist, and Laparoscopic Surgeon based in Ghaziabad who is doing his work with an aim to help people live a good and healthy life.

Dr. Vaibhav Saxena is a name who has been acing the field of urological procedures including advanced laparoscopic procedures has the experience of successfully undertaking more than 14000 urological procedures and treating more than 1000 male infertility patients. Dr. Saxena has had a successful long career and a good exposure to robotics for 3 years during his tenure in AIIMS from 2008 to 2011. Post completing his MCh, he joined as Consultant Urology in Columbia Asia, Ghaziabad, and started the Urology department and promoted laser surgery for prostate. Following his passion to help people live a healthy life,
free of any diseases, he then chose to work as a Consultant Urology at Regency Hospital situated in Kanpur where Dr. Saxena was the first to perform flexible ureteroscopy and laparoscopic urology.

Eventually, with time Dr. Vaibhav Saxena got drawn towards undertaking urological procedures. Catering to the same, he started working and developing his own innovative technique for urethroplasty and urethral tissue substitution. Over the period, he has marked a strong foothold, in addition to that he has performed more than 10000 endourology, open surgical, laparoscopic, and uro-oncology operations in Urology. Dr. Vaibhav Saxena has an urge to advance his skills by learning each day and as a result, he developed a special interest in advanced laparoscopy and robotics especially reconstruction and oncology. With that, he also joined hands with the Yashoda group of hospitals and research centre in Ghaziabad in June 2013 and he is currently practising there.

Dr. Vaibhav Saxena’s field of expertise includes Kidney Stone, Endourology, Urethral stricture, BPH, Bladder Prostate Diseases, Male Infertility Disorder, Sexual Dysfunction, Nocturia, Urological Cancer, Urinary Tract Infection, Stricture Urethra, Pelvic prolapse, overactive bladder, Pediatric Urology and Reconstruction. Sharing his in-depth knowledge and expertise, Dr. Vaibhav Saxena says, “People, and especially males, often have the habit of not taking the disease and conditions that affect their urinary system seriously. What they do not realise is that this might affect them in the long run. Ignoring urinary problems might lead to causes like cancer, diabetes, kidney problems, and even fertility problems. As a result, he got to get associated with many renowned groups like Delhi Medical Council Registration in Urology and General Surgery, U P Medical council registration, Life member of Urology society of UP, and Life Member of Urological Society of India.
