It is really hard to digest the fact that we’ve spent almost five-and-a-half months at home. Who would have thought that we could operate everything so smoothly without even stepping out of our home? Kudos to us!

In fact, knowingly or unknowingly most of us have adopted certain positive habits during this pandemic that are not only keeping us sane but are also bringing a sense of calm and stability in us.

Today, let’s focus on these positive changes rather than the gloom the covid-19 pandemic brings along:

1. Our families have become our priority, again!
Before the pandemic, most of us were either caught up at work or amongst other things. The casualty? Our families who would feel left out. Thankfully, this pandemic with its forced lockdown and quarantine has pressed pause on our race against time. Today, we’re not just spending quality time with our loved ones, but we are also rebuilding our bonds.

2. Getting in shape has become our priority
This is one of the biggest givings of this pandemic. Those who used to run away from exercising are now finding a way to get fit. The best part is that home workouts have now become a thing. With many online sessions and tutorials easily available, we can learn different exercises at your own convenience.

3. We finally have the time to pursue our hobbies
We as adults are getting back to pursuing our hobbies–then may it be cooking, drawing, music, or dancing. Our hobbies have not only become a way to pass the time but to also stay sane. Pursuing what you love brings a sense of fulfillment and joy, making you feel satisfied and happy.

4. We’ve upgraded our skills
We all are thriving, trying to become our best selves. And why not? When schools and colleges are running online, then learning a new skill is no biggie.

5. Less junk food, more home-made recipes
Well, this one habit is not just keeping us healthy but making us rich too. The kind of money that we have saved by not ordering out anymore is just insane. But this doesn’t mean we are compromising on taste. We are making everything, from momos to pizzas at home.

6. We are not being exposed to pollution anymore
Although life is back on track now that the lockdown is open, air pollution levels in Indian cities is still not as bad as it used to be. According to a report published in The Hindu, global CO2 emissions in 2020 have dropped to levels last seen in 2006.
